Delete Your What the Chess? Account and Data

When we receive and verify your request, we delete or anonymize your authentication account and the personal and account data associated with it. Based on what the service actually stores, that includes:

• Your authentication account and profile: email, display name, username, avatar or profile photo and interface preferences.
• Your game records: completed games and results, in-progress saved games, ratings, statistics and achievements.
• Your online-play records: challenges and invitations, matchmaking entries and online match records tied to your account.

We normally complete verified deletions within 30 days. Afterwards, limited records or backups may remain temporarily—only for security, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, or until routine backups expire—as described in our Privacy Policy.

Removing the Android app from your device does not delete the account data held by the service. To have that data removed, submit the request below from the email address on your account—you do not need the app installed to do so.

Enter the email address associated with your account. We send a confirmation to that address and verify ownership of it before anything is deleted, so a request cannot remove someone else's data. For your protection we do not disclose whether any given email address has an account. Submitting this form starts the request; it does not delete your account on its own.
